Description
This are character concepts based on the Brazilian folklore, made for a cell phone operator endomarketing campain. The characters:
Boitatá - a snake of fire that frightens the hunters and anyone that wants to burn the forest's trees.
Curupira - a curumin (indian boy) with red hair and the feet backwards, so his footprints will fool whoever tries to track him.
Saci-Pererê - a black kid that lost a leg during a capoeira fight. He likes to do tricks to annoy everyone in his way. Also, he lives in the whirlwind.
Boto - in daylight he is a river dolphin; at night, he turns into a handsome man and goes to town to seduce a virgin, who he kidnaps. His transformation isn't complete, though: if you want to recognize him, you must take his hat off, because his nose is at the top of his head.
Iara - she's a mermaid, but she lives in the rivers... amazing how native Brazilians had exactly the same legend of European sailors
(vectors in Illustrator CS2, tried to do it the simplier I could)

Great work! Now you need to do ALL the myths of Brazil...

My only crit would be the fire on the snake, it's a bit too simple and stiff in some parts. Nice image, though.
